Fine Food Drink Limited is the company behind the Vanilla Pages. Established as a “for profit” organisation, the running of a sustainable and profitable business is one of the primary objectives of the company. However, it has always been maintained that this business will be run as a company whose other objectives - our passions and hopes for the industry - hold an equal importance to that of profit.
These objectives are as much as anything, the founders’ passions and hopes for the industry. It evolved during the development of the Vanilla Pages that all involved in the company sincerely believed that the site will be hailed as an industry asset and an inclusive concept that at the very fore:
- Promotes suppliers who demonstrate integrity by valuing the taste and quality of their food and drink above their profit margins.
- Creates a level playing field in the market, offering smaller suppliers the same access to the market as the larger suppliers.
- Enables and encourages buyers to increase the seasonality and decrease the food miles that are reflected in their product range.
